To play standard-definition video from the iTunes Store, an Intel Pentium D or faster processor, 512MB of RAM, and a DirectX 9.0–compatible video card is required.PC with a 1GHz Intel or AMD processor with support for SSE2 and 512MB of RAM.I game on the ultrawide while using the other screens for streaming/browsing. I have an ultrawide monitor and two other monitors. Playing games on Ultra with buttery smooth FPS now. Installed easily, and it is running beautifully. After some research, I found that that 1060 was small, efficient, powerful, and affordable, which was the perfect combination for my X51's small case. I was thinking about buying a new desktop or building, when I realized that the GPU was the main culprit. I was unable to play certain titles that I had purchased. Around a year ago I upgraded the RAM to 16gb for about $100 which boosted my multitasking ability, but gaming was still suffering. My X51 was getting a bit slow and hinging while multitasking and gaming. I recently installed this GTX1060 into my Alienware X51 R2, which originally had a GTX645 (I think) from when I bought it around four years ago. I seen a Colorful mini 1060 go for nearly $500 and you get just about the same performance or really close to it for about $200 less. It is an above average quality card and at a good price for one of the higher entry level gaming video cards. Overall I highly recommend this video card. It's pretty safe to say that it should be getting 30-45fps at UHD resolution on certain games. UHD gaming on this card should be pretty good but not quite perfect. On my 49 inch LG UHD I play the video games and watch the movies and shows on. On my smaller monitor I use to surf the web and use Twitch stream software. Only issues I had was when I forgot to uninstall my old driver making me have to swap this card out for my old one, uninstall the driver software, plug this back in, boot it back up, install the driver software, update the GeFo rce Experience gaming software and fix my dual screen settings. Setting this card up wasn't too much of a problem. My next move is to upgrade to an i7 on my 1150 socket mobo but that's another story. If anything before that time comes perhaps the price of the 1080 or whatever Nvidia puts out within the next 10+ years the price of an elite video card will come down drastically like under $300 for what I paid for this one. A LOT more powerful, quiet, runs cool, efficient and I'm more than positive that this baby can last well over 15 years without an issue. It's about maybe 60% smaller than the R9 290 I had for just under 5 years. Compact, powerful, runs cool, quiet and efficient!
