Shazam works great on smartphones, but – our reader asks today – is there any way of using similar services on PCs or Macs?ĭigital DJ Tips reader Joe writes: “With the awesome mobile song detection apps like Shazam and SoundHound, is there an application for Mac (or even PC) that uses the same “service” in order to identify and tag your music library? I’ve used applications that use Discogs (and other algorithms) but none have been as straightforward as the mobile apps or they felt clumsy and I didn’t feel comfortable with most of the results.
